Easy Techniques That You Can Use To Exercise Throughout the Day

Are you finding it difficult to slot in a few minutes for exercise during the day because of a busy work schedule or home life?  If this describes you, I have good news for you and ultimately a solution for your weight loss. The techniques I have described in this article can be performed almost anywhere and only require a few minutes.

The first of these techniques is taking the stairs instead of an elevator at least once a day.   It may take you a little bit longer to get where you are going, but you will find that you would be burning more calories by walking.  While it may not be feasible to take the stairs all the time, it is a fact that by not using the elevator at all, you achieve weight loss results faster.

The second technique is to suck it in.  If you want to tighten your abs and whittle your waist, you can suck in your stomach discretely throughout the day and no one needs to know what you are doing. Sucking in your stomach at five minutes intervals throughout the day will greatly assist you especially if your exercise options are limited.  There are many women who have been able to lose whole dress sizes after just a couple of weeks.

The third technique is to start fidgeting.   You can actually burn calories through fidgeting, especially if you are somebody who spends a lot of time behind an office desk.  You need not drive your co-workers insane because  of  engaging in constant movements since  fidgeting with your feet under the desk is all you need to make a difference.

The fourth technique is to do housework.  You can actually burn more calories by performing housework than running. Doing your own housework makes your house neat and tidy in addition to giving you the benefit of exercise.   You should try to put aside thirty minutes to sweep, vacuum and dust the house.   It will enable you to get a good work out and get your heart rate up.

Another technique you can use to exercise during the day is by being creative.  For example, if you have limited options to exercise during office hours, you should exercise when you are on your lunch break.  You can do some brisk walking outside or at a mall.  This way, you will end up burning more calories as opposed to sitting behind your office desk during the lunch break.

The final technique is to try leg bends.   You can do leg bends under your office desk, which will work out your lower body and no one needs to notice.  If you suffer boredom because of sitting  as you work, try this technique especially if you are frequently on phone.  While still seated, unbend your knees and raise your legs. Hold this position for a few seconds and then lower your legs back down.  You can repeat this exercise throughout the day.
